21/09/2010 - The Italian Formula 3 Championship is going to live the sixth round of a thrilling season this weekend at Vallelunga.
Alberto Cerqui worked with Team Ombra Racing's technicians last week in collective tests to achieve the best balancing of his Dallara on one of his favourite tracks. On this very same track, the winner of the 2009 Formula Azzurra title was protagonist last year of a strong victory in race one that launched him to the final success; remarkable was also his performance in the Supercorso CSAI that last November saw the young talent from Brescia emerging from the six most promising young drivers selected by the federation.
Alberto Cerqui:
"Vallelunga is a track whereby I have always managed to express myself at the highest levels and I am determined to confirm this in Formula 3 too. During last week's test we have done a good work on the car that makes me hopeful for the outcome of the weekend: my objective is to finish the season third of the rookies and in the race I will aim at obtaining the first victory of the rookies".
